Diane Dawson

President and CEO

Strong selling background, with proven track record beginning with a sales career at IBM. Diane’s educational background includes a  degree from Northwestern University, and an MBA from Booth School of Business, University of Chicago.  Diane is passionate about making sure the company provides exceptional service to the company’s customers and principals.  She has been extensively involved with IFT for many decades as a leader and a supporter, having been Chicago Section Chair.  Diane is known for her deep network in the food industry curated for four decades.  How can we be of help?


Regional  Sales Manager

I have dedicated over thirty-eight years to Dawson Sales Company. I pride myself in being friendly, loyal, and trustworthy. I love working in the food Industry.  I value representing respected suppliers and selling to top notch companies in the industry. I provide years of knowledge to our customers with an upbeat, professional delivery.

I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening and watching all Chicago sports. 


National Accounts Manager, and Operations Manager

Katie Mulcrone started her career with Dawson Sales as an intern during her time at Northwestern University. She has had the opportunity to work in various roles within Dawson – from customer service to forecasts to sales. This diverse background has provided great insight into how we can best service our customers in the most efficient way possible. Katie finds the most fulfillment in working closely with our customers and Principals to bring new products to life. From the first R&D inquiries to the order, Katie can provide assistance and professional support each step of the way.

Consummate food industry professional with extensive experience in procurement, customer service, operations, marketing and sales.  Dedicated to finding optimal ingredient solutions for our customers and thinking outside the box to support their growth and success.
